Youngsters are encouraged to bring their grandparents to The Merion’s Second Annual Fall Fest on Sunday, October 11th from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The intergenerational event is free and open to the young and young at heart. The Merion is located at 1611 Chicago Avenue in downtown Evanston.
“We have completed renovations and are in the midst of building a new tower. We are so proud to open our beautiful building and show off our wonderful transformation,” said Margaret Gergen, director of leasing for The Merion. “In addition, the Evanston community is so warm and welcoming to us, that we value this opportunity to give back. Our Fall Fest is a great time for grandparents to enjoy the fabulous season with their grandchildren, creating memories for all ages.”
Fall Fest will include a petting zoo, live entertainment, a free photo booth, an indoor beer garden, a kids’ root beer garden, a bounce house, refreshments, door prizes and more. New this year will be a family costume contest.
